Updated 2025: 7th edition of Vermont's Long Trail Waterproof Hiking Map.  

The map includes a detailed display of the Long Trail, its side trails, the Appalachian Trail in Vermont, and the North Country National Scenic Trail in Vermont. It reflects the most up-to-date information about shelter and trail locations, mileage between points, elevation profiles, general hiking information and a few featured day hikes.  

The Green Mountain Club recommends always carrying a paper map and compass when recreating in the backcountry, as cell phones can die.  

This map combined with the Long Trail Guide, available in paperback or eBook format, and End-to-Ender’s Guide provide the most comprehensive resources to plan and hike on the Long Trail. The digital 7th edition of the Long Trail Map is available through Avenza.
